In general, these are not the kinds of wines that we usually drink, but we were pleasantly surprised by two of these wines which were rich, smooth, and enjoyable. The third wine? Well, let’s just say we gave it one of the lowest ratings we have ever given a wine.
If you have a Cabernet Sauvignon lover in your life, but are tired of the same old oaky wines, try Petite Sirah. This wine will make them happy, and we think a couple of these wines will make fantastic party wines and gift wines!
And, we’ll give you the real real in our ratings and reviews. We don’t hold back when it comes to being honest in our tastings.
Wines reviewed in this episode: 2020 Bogle Family Vineyards Petite Sirah, 2020 Michael David Petite Petit, and 2019 Kaleidoscope Petite Sirah.
