Holiday Sparkling Wines #1: Crémant

Looking for a fabulous French sparkling wine that will please the palate and not break the bank? Check out Crémant! Crémant is a French sparkling wine that is made in the same method as Champagne, but comes from regions outside of the Champagne area, and often uses different grapes. There are 8 different officially designated Crémant regions in France (as well as one in Belgium and one in Luxembourg), and we taste and review sparklers from Alsace, Bordeaux, and Burgundy. Each is different, and each is wonderful in its own way. Wines reviewed in this episode: Andre Delorme Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs Brut Reserve, Joseph Cattin Crémant d'Alsace Brut, and 2019 Calvet Crémant de Bordeaux Brut Rosé.
